The Benedict Hosta Collection also known as Hosta Hillside is located on the site of the original rock garden built by Mr. Fee in the 1940's. More than 800 varieties of the Hosta genus are represented in this collection. This is also an Offical American Hosta Society Display Garden and was designated so in 1995 and was only the second garden in the country to receive this distinction. The Hosta Hybridizers area was added in the mid 2000's showcasing the introductions of Michigan Hosta Hybridizers. The hillside boasts mature plants in a breathtaking location next to Hidden Lake.
