Holiday Festival
Saturday, December 5
2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
 
Join us for our 20th annual Holiday Festival. The rolling hills at Hidden Lake Gardens are decorated with holiday images, lit by over 2,000 luminaries and colored lights. Visit Santa in the Visitor Center and gather ideas for holiday decorations from displays designed by Lenawee Vo-Tech horticulture students. There will be activities for the kids and great ideas in the gift shop for the nature lovers and gardeners on your shopping list. Come enjoy your favorite carols performed by local musicians and choirs. The festive activities begin at 2:00 p.m. and continue until 8:00 p.m. Luminaries are lit at dusk.
Admission $3 per person

Evening of Lights

Enjoy a winter outing with friends and family. Come to Hidden Lake Gardens to enjoy the holiday light display. More than 2,000 candle-lit luminaries will be placed throughout the grounds. Festive designs adorn the hillsides and colorful lights accent the trees. The gift shop will be open until 8:00 p.m. for your holiday shopping. The conservatory will also be open until 8:00 p.m.

The Sweet History of Chocolate & Chocolate Tasting

Attention!!! Chocolate Lovers; your dreams have come true with this lecture and sampling of chocolates from around the world.  From the rain forest to decadent confectionaries-immerse yourself in the history of Chocolate.  Join Patrick Fields PhD (a.k.a. “Doc Choc”) instructor at Olivet College in Olivet, MI, as he takes you from the bean to the bar. Included in the lecture will be a short walk into the conservatory to observe the cocoa plant.  You will take home a new appreciation for chocolate and its many benefits. This program is entertaining and appropriate for chocolate lovers of all ages.  Sampling of 12-14 types of chocolates will be included in class fee.   
 
Cost  $14/12 for Friends of Hidden Lake Gardens and $8/6 children
